  164. Clean-Up 1.09 [CLEANUP] kills and removes computer viruses, and in most
  165. instances it repairs infected files, re-constructs damaged programs and
  166. returns the system to normal operation. Clean-Up works for all viruses
  167. identified by the current version of McAfee Associates' Scan.

  169. File Shield (FSHIELD) is intended for software distributors; it shields
  170. executable files so that virus infections are instantly detected and
  171. automatically removed by the shield. This protects the software manufacturer

  179. done manually or, if the infection is widespread, automatic removal utilities
  180. are available which can disinfect each virus strain.

  194. major virus strains and numerous sub-varieties for each strain. Another
  195. major feature allows SCAN to check inside of programs compressed with
  196. LZEXE. An option to transparently attach a CRC validation code to all of
  197. your executable files, your boot sector and your partition table helps
  198. protect your system in case a virus unknown to SCAN is encountered. You
  199. can save to disk a list of any files found infected. It includes an
  200. option that allows you to scan for new viruses by adding your own set of
  201. search strings loaded from an external virus data file.
